This Herb, Mushroom and Ham Flatbread is an easy and delicious holiday appetizer sure to please your family, friends and any other guests that might pop in over the festive season.

  • 4-6 tbsp. Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs cheese
  • 2 Flatbread
  • 1 lb mushrooms (i.e. crimini, shiitake, white, etc. or a mix)
  • 1/2 cup pre-cooked ham, diced
  • 2 clove garlic, diced
  • 1 tsp. fresh rosemary, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste (we didn’t add any additional salt as it had enough taste from the ham)
  • 1 tbsp. butter

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees. Place flatbread on a baking tray and heat until golden and crispy.
  2. To a large skillet or frying pan, add ham and sauté over medium heat.
  3. After a few minutes, remove from pan and set aside for later.
  4. To the same pan, add butter, rosemary, garlic, mushrooms, salt & black pepper. Cook until mushrooms turn a golden colour and water has evaporated, about 15 minutes.
  5. When the mushroom water has evaporated, add ham back to skillet and continue to cook, about 2 minutes.
  6. When done, remove pan from heat and set aside.
  7. To the cooked flatbread, spread 2-3 tbsp. of Boursin cheese then layer ½ cup mushroom and ham mixture over top.
  8. Garnish with extra rosemary (optional) and enjoy hot!

TIP: if making ahead of time, store flatbread in the fridge and reheat in a frying pan until the naan gets crispy and mushroom mixture reheats thoroughly.
